Step back in time with us at Goddards Brewery for our 1940s Weekend on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th August, 11am–4pm.
We are proud to be hosting this nostalgic celebration of the 1940s era in collaboration with Vectis 40s Vintage, bringing together live music, history and family-friendly entertainment across the weekend.
Expect live performances from local artists, immersive 1940s living history displays, vintage vehicles, Militaria, stalls, buskers and more, all helping to recreate the spirit of wartime Britain, from rationing and make do and mend to iconic fashion and music of the era.
Vectis 40s Vintage are a like-minded re-enactment group passionate about all aspects of the 1940s and operate on a charitable basis, supporting Women’s Refuge Isle of Wight, REMAP, and Recycle Isle of Wight.
If you have anything 1940s inspired that you would like to display, showcase or sell, we would love to hear from you.
Free entry and all welcome.
